What’s In a Fajita?

You must have heard the term Fajita being used in Tex-Mex cuisines. It is basically a Mexican dish with any grilled meat, usually served as a taco on corn or flour tortilla. The best part is that it is finger licking good!

This Mexican-American favorite is traditionally made with skirt steak marinated in lime juice, oil, garlic and red pepper. After the meat is cooked it is wrapped in a flour tortilla and garnished with grilled peppers, onions, guacamole, sour cream and cheese. You can also choose to add some veggies or condiments of your choice. If you’re not a big fan of steak, other meats like chicken, fish or shrimp can also be used as a substitute.
